Cover letter

I am a South Korean born in the USA, living and working in the metropolitan area of the South Korean capital Seoul. I majored in linguistics at Korea University. My earliest experience in media and journalism category is mainly proofreading of a Korean-English architecture magazine and writing of short news stories, also working on other cultural books in English and Korean. I worked with Space Magazine, the aforementioned architecture magazine, from the summer of 2006 until the end of 2008. I have also translated texts - English to Korean and Korean to English, mainly creating rough draft translations. Since the beginning of 2019, my motto is “Something Korean”. Via freelance writing based on this motto, I am hoping to make the world a happier place by sharing with everyone on my blog and elsewhere the unique beauty of Korean art and culture.
