Around AD 30 in Galilee, God‘s blessed young Son, Jesus, recruited eleven choicest men (and one not-so-much, I'm afraid) to spread His words, his teaching and Himself to the crowd after his shocking, tearful death and glorious resurrection. Christmas signifies his life's holy journey from his Age 0 to crucifixion and going on afterwards. His lasting gift to the world is God's merciful forgiveness for all and freedom from badness, and after nearly 2 thousand yrs His message is still resounding and valid. Thing is, a community was formed after His ascension and they gathered in an attic room full of 120 people who knew and loved Jesus, among whom were that dozen of blessed apostles. Holy Spirit came upon them there, and thereby began Christianity.
