<The owner of the guesthouse featured here participated in the writing up of this story.>

This great-value guesthouse is 200m from the crossroad and 1km from Sanghyeon Subway Station. It is surrounded by a buzzing village life. Various attractions like Everland, the Folk Village, Gwanggyo Lake Park, and Suwon Hwaseong temporary palace are all fairly close by.

There is no active security force roaming the streets, however, crime prevention CCTV watches over the area to ensure maximum safety.

Built in October 2013, it's a modern, affordable and relaxing space, fully equipped with Wi-Fi.

It has four high-standard bedrooms with comfortable beds, and its spacious communal kitchen provides a guest lounge, a water purifier, and many other useful amenities.

Also shared are the shower room and the bathroom. They are well maintained and kept extremely clean at all times. Yene House places a big emphasis on cleanliness throughout, and changes the bed sheets every single day.

They also have an option to host barbecue parties (only during the daytime) at 100,000KRW for 4 hours and ten people.

Many people have had a fun time here and made special memories.

One example was a birthday party for a 70-year-old mother.

They put up decorations and had a placard and photographs done up for her.

In the photographs on Yene House’s homepage, you can see that many people from different countries and backgrounds have come to enjoy themselves. They even bring and cook their own food. Utensils, toys and anything they may need are provided.

On the ground floor there is a Japanese restaurant called Morinoya.  They serve delicious and substantial lunch-box  style food or boiled meat.

Next to the restaurant is the owner’s real-estate spot. You can pop in anytime to visit the mascot of Yene House which is a beautiful big Samoyed dog called Yed who is 8 years old and extremely friendly.

The guesthouse’s stylish and modern design was featured in the South Korean ‘Interior World’ Magazine.

The main interior colors are white, black and lime and are carefully chosen to ensure a unique feel. There is also a skylight in the Star Room where you can relax and gaze up at the sky from inside.

You can go on a virtual tour of the place on their homepage http://www.yenehouse.com
