Headline: 8 best K-musicians to listen to on subway trips

Standfirst and/or Intro: Not too sing-song, but the beat sure tastes sweet, standing or sitting and listening in Korean subway cars. We can enjoy thumping underground journeys while feeling our hearts pounding to the music. With you possibly moving from Seoul's Line 1 to Circle Line to Line 5, here are ways to bribe your tired ears.

1 Red Velvet

Most recently coming from K-pop girl group are exotically-named Zimzalabim and Umpah Umpah. These cool, pop and refreshing two songs can make addictive listens. These songs do not speak to solely one-gender audience, but go to enjoyable and even philosophical lengths for all humanity with their lyrics. Dont start quarrelling with your tired self, go on to contemplate the rhythm of the songs you hear.

2 BTS

The celebrated BTSs much aired track FAKE LOVE is an intelligent one featuring some rap parts that draw the listeners to listlessness. one track on their new album, Bomnal, A Spring Day, is so melodic and sweet and yet keeps its tension. You want to jump start the day getting on the subway? Now you get your day ready with brill music like these.

3 Spring Summer Autumn Winter (SSAW)

This dused-to-play duo presents the world with what could be called their 'emotional beat.' Their own colourful fusion jazz, started in 1980s, has explored fragments of relaxed drums, rendering crushed rhythm even more broken, as could happen in ad signal songs. Bravo My Life is a track that could be called adult, with mature lyrics for Koreas grown-up middle class. And the images woven by the songs like People who are always happy, translated from Hangsang Gippeo Haneun Sa Ram Deul from their first album, will surely paint a happy picture on the ceiling of the subway car youre in.

4 Mamamu

These girls could fantastically fit into the place of a neighborhood girls group, perhaps made and produced by Taylor Swift, mirrored in their most recent albums. Their music is cheerful and theyre that neuter and hearty. Their recent albums title song is Starry Night, a flowing dance track. And with the cheery Um Oh Ah Yeh, look out those in their teens and twenties, the song making jewels out of hip words and joints of phrases like Chwihyang Jeogyok, roughly meaning sniper of taste.

5 TVXQ!

These are five boys who emerged an ideal Korean import in Japan, alongside BOA. Their sophisticated, cool image breaks through national prejudices. Some of the earliest tracks you will enjoy are MIROTIC and a Korean dance re-make song Balloons. The honeyed Balloons boasts fast beat with cute lyrics about boyhood, all members singing in turns.

6 TWICE

From Yes or Yes to Likey, TWICE give us an image of baby angels frolicking among clouds, perhaps because they are so witty, intellectual and light-hearted. The melodies and refrains of these songs got TWICE to be a favourite girl group with precise, inspirational and frolic work ready. And that is a guarantee of a good listen on the subway.

7 Daybreak

This rock band produces thrilling yet relieving work, employing amusing lyrics (with Deureodda Nwadda as the example and the masterpiece), and cute melody as their signature. The lyrics boast rather childlike decency in a pop/rock group. Obviously people find the song Deureodda Nwadda so delightful, it has even been remade by a Korean girl group.

8 Gyu Chan Jo

This guy could be dubbed Koreas Barry Gibb, with engaging vocal talent to apparently digest every genre, so much so that his blessed voice has lasted approximately 30 years on and off the music chart, having recently found a beautiful Chinese song to cover named Baby Baby. The youth can see him as from something staying in the olden times; however, to the older audience, his voice recalls the times they enjoyed listening to older Korean music on the radio, and, if you are at the certain age, your subway trip will be no exception. Any of Gyu Chans music show that depth.
