Yeongsanhwesang is an hour-long piece of Korean traditional music that used to be played for middle to upper class locals, now echoeing substantially in the listener's ear. With Yeongsanhwesang, the horizon just keeps gently rising and dropping, its flow participated by all of the instruments present which include useful Korean drums, flutes and strings such as the geomun-go. Dated from the 18-19th century, the Gwanak Yeongsanhwesang goes on for something like an hour rhythmically clenching the ears and hearts of the listener. It is full of an ancient beautiful reiteration of simple, short and sweet melodies.
