Lovelyz comes into sugary being in its 7th Mini Album

 Like mini crystal toy soldiers against a glass bowl, Lovelyz's very own 7th Mini Album's intro track Unforgettable rings for just 47 seconds. Going further and repeating itself, this piece reminds us of the magical, snowy atmosphere of Tim Burton's films. Still further, it works as an overarching appetizer for the meal of the whole album.

 And the magic lasts for the second track, Obliviate. It is at once a neat dancible Korean song and a magical vehicle for adolescent girls' hidden wishes. Last of all, mostly working with its girlish lyrics, this contemplative effort almost calls for some of the most powerful, royal spells set out in Harry Potter books.

 The titles of all other tracks are in Korean, and their harmonious and yet dynamical vocal parts are reminiscent of South Korea's darling duo Peppertones' earliest album. The song Jagakmong is especially sensual and sensitive, even as it summons up fandom artwork like Gundam.

 Electronic strings work very finely for two other remaining songs Jeoldae, Bimil and Worry Doll, while Jeoldae boasts sad lyrics sung by balanced female vocals. Last but not the least, Worry Doll mainly consists of guitar and a competent vocal - Going strong like Corinne Bailey Rae, with a nice set of arrangement for a girl group. On the whole, this tidy package will not fail to entertain the audience in a Christmas-winter-ish (and girl-ish) mood.
