How I became an "editor"

In 2008, I nodded (read fell asleep) throughout my one day journalism class with which I briefly (for a few months before I quit my workplace to learn more widely about jounalism in London) was able to work as a sort of "editor" at Space Magazine instead of the previous "editorial assistant" though all I did then was I co-created a special feature on cartoon and architecture, also did a few articles in the news section under the chief editor. This  promotion came about after us being listed in Arts and Humanities Citation Index in 2008 when each month I gathered each editor's section decriptions for a period more than 3 months and sent it to the workers over there as faithful reminders of our efforts. This was my job. Early on, I saw my predecessor didn't do enough nor create more graceful PR effort and voila, I did both. Head on to www.vmspace.com  for Space Magazine still going strong.
